101 Basic Doctrine 1 3 Credits

The purpose of this course is to establish God’s plan of salvation in its fullness. We will look at the creation, fall and atonement of mankind. We will focus in on the precious Blood of Jesus and see why the sacrifice had to be blood. There is also a study of Amazing Grace that saves, sanctifies and empowers to serve. Finally, there is an examination of real faith that pleases God, for salvation comes through Christ’s Blood by grace through faith.

 

102 Basic Doctrine 2 3 Credits

This course is to present and establish the believer in the foundational doctrines of Christ as given in Hebrews 6:1-2. The doctrine of baptisms, laying on of hands, true and false repentance, resurrection of the dead and eternal judgement. (Faith was covered in Basic Doctrine 1.)  The course also establishes and proves by Scripture the Truth of the Trinity.

 

103 Discipleship 1 3 Credits

This course is to establish a strong and sure foundation in the life of the believer.  Emphasis is placed on studying God’s Word and how to study, living a life of prayer, crucifying the flesh in fasting and establishing a heart of giving. A sure foundation is necessary, for as the Scripture says, “…If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalms 11:3)

 

201 Discipleship 2 3 Credits

This course is to continue to build upon the foundational principles; to develop within the believer the agape type of love and to know the difference between God’s love and the world’s love. To help the student understand the power of patience and how to yield to it’s working within the life of the believer.  It is also to develop a life of sanctification and a life of praise.

 

202 Discipleship 3 3 Credits

The primary focus is to bring the student to the place of complete surrender to Jesus. They will learn how and what is needed to take up the cross and follow Jesus. The student will learn how to lay down their life, crucify their flesh and walk in the Holy Spirit. They will also learn the importance of faithfulness and God’s proper order of authority and submission.

 

203 Living Within God’s Kingdom 3 Credits

This course presents to the student the elements of living within God’s Kingdom: how to hear God’s voice and be Divinely guided by God, to have a clear understanding of covenant relationship that God has established in Christ Jesus, to receive and understand the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, and finally, to learn how the feasts of God in the Old Testament are spiritually applied to the believer’s life today.

 

204 The Character of God 1 Credit

This study follows God’s progressive revelation of Who He is by His revealing of His redemptive covenant names within Scripture. It is also a study of the Holy Spirit: His person, Deity and ministry.

 

205 Divine Healing 2 Credits

This is a study of healing by the power of God.  It is a Scriptural based study to show that God still heals today - physically and emotionally. It gives the student a sound and solid basis of the Scripture to bring healing to others by the Holy Spirit.

 

206 God’s Gifts to the Church 2 Credits

This course is to examine, reveal and explain the God’s gifts to the church.  To bring the understanding of the leadership gifts of Ephesians 4:11, the motivational gifts of Romans 12:4-7, and the working gifts of 1 Corinthians 4-11; that the student may come to realize his/her gifts and to be used for the working of God’s Kingdom.

 

207 Communion With God 1 Credit

This course emphasizes a greater communion and oneness with God. To understand and study the importance of the Lord’s Supper as a Communion and to recognize a need for the restoration of David’s Tabernacle within the life of the believer, that the believer may live in grace, rest and worship of God.

 

208 The Believer’s Ministry 3 Credits

This course reveals the ministry that God has given to every believer. It is to study the importance of intercession; to develop and to instruct in the winning of souls to Christ, and to have an understanding of the anointing within the life of the believer.

 

301 Cults 2 Credits

This course is to gain an understanding and identify the particular marks of the cults; to understand what constitutes a cult and how they differ from Christianity as it is described in the Scriptures. Students also learn how to witness to and lead those deceived ones to the Jesus of the Bible.

 

302 In Class Workshop 1 Credit

These workshops develop the ministry potential in each student. They give opportunity under supervision to be used of God in each one’s particular gifts. Students also learn how to correctly follow God’s leading and maintain correct attitudes toward Christ Jesus in ministry.

 

303 In Class Workshop 1 Credit

A continuation of the developing of ministry gifts within each student.

 

304 The Spiritual Realm 3 Credits

This course is a study of the spiritual realm. This course includes the study of angels and their ministry to man. There is also an in-depth study of demonology and the ministry of deliverance from demonic powers.

 

305 Marriage and Family 2 Credits

This is a study of God’s successful marriage: to understand what marriage is according to God’s Word, and to understand that marriage is a covenant relationship and highly esteemed by God. The roles of the husband and wife within the marriage are also examined.

 

306 God’s Minister 1 3 Credits

This course is to study and to understand what communication is within God’s Kingdom: the focus being on communication through speed. Also it is to study and understand spiritual leadership and how it differs from worldly leadership. There is also a look at the process that occurs as one comes into a ministry. 

 

307 God’s Minister 2 3 Credits

This course will make and intense and in-depth study of pastoring. It will cover such areas as what the pastor can expect from God, what the pastor’s responsibilities are to God and the people, and what are the people’s responsibilities to the pastor. The text that will be studied is God’s Word.  It is also a study of women in ministry – what does the Bible teach about women in ministry roles?  The students will also study pastoral counseling according to God’s Word.  They will also look at the Elijah ministry that God is raising up.

 

308 Study of the Book of Acts 3 Credits

This course studies the birth and early growth of the church. It is a study of the conversion and ministry of the apostle Paul. It is also a study of the fulfilling of the commandment of Jesus to be witnesses in Jerusalem. Judea, Samaria and to the world.

309 Election and Predestination 2 Credits

This course is a Scriptural study and rightly divides God’s Word concerning election and predestination. It is to know that the believer is and can be sure and secure in their salvation.

310 Greater Faith 1 Credit

This course is to guide the student to a great faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ: to encourage and exhort each student to a greater faith.

311 The Message of Jesus to the 7 Churches in Asia Minor 3 Credits

This course is an in-depth study of Revelation Chapters 2 and 3. It helps the student understand the relevance of Jesus’ 7 messages to the church today; that the correction and exhortation that was needed then is needed today and that the church will learn from their mistakes and follow Godly examples.

312 The Life of Christ 1 3 Credits

This course is a study of the life of Christ according to the gospel of Luke. The emphasis in Luke is on the universal gospel to all people and the reaching out of God to the oppressed and despised people of society. It is hoped that the student will develop the compassion of Christ in their life to bring forth the life of Christ to others. This course begins with the announcement of Jesus’ birth and ends with Jesus in His Galilee ministry.

313 The Life of Christ 2 3 Credits

This study continues to follow the life of Christ from His ministry in Galilee until His coming into Jerusalem.

314 Exposure to the Early Church 1 Credit 

315 A Survey of the Reformation Leaders 1 Credit
